The Effects of Social Inequality on Human Health

On this upcoming Thursday, Primary Care Progress will have the honor of hosting a discussion by well-renowned UC Berkeley epidemiology professor Dr. Anthony Iton.

This is a great opportunity for anyone with interest in health care who would like to get a glimpse of the depth of social issues that are intertwined in the lives of us and the patients we may serve.

The link to a free stream of the documentary is provided below. We highly recommend watching the video prior to the presentation to really elevate your understanding and experience in the discussion.

Dr. Iton holds an M.D. from John Hopkins University and a J.D. from U.C. Berkeley. He has been recognized for his vast work in public health and social welfare by the California Legislative Black Caucus with the Black History Month Legends award. For more information about Dr. Iton, feel free to see his Berkeley webpage at http://sph.berkeley.edu/anthony-iton.

Hope to see you there!

.. And remember - FREE FOOD!
